Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner has been chosen for our April book discussion. Written by Grammy-nominated indie rock sensation, Zauner's unforgettable memoir talks about her experience growing up Korean-American, family, grief, and food and how it bonds us to our loved ones. Poignant and honest anecdotes from her childhood in Oregon, a tiny family apartment in Seoul, and her time in college spent on the East Coast as a musician and restaurant worker are just some of the memories the author shares in this beautiful debut. We will be discussing this book twice in the month of April: Monday, April 28 at 5:30 pm & Wednesday, April 30 at 1:30 pm. Monday's book discussion will be held both online and in person. If you'd like to join the discussion virtually please contact the library for a zoom link. Everyone is welcome to attend.
